Our Team

At the helm of our team is Jacquie, the friendly face and owner of Simply Helping Loddon Mallee, who brings over 30 years of invaluable experience in the aged care and disability sectors. Jacquie’s hands-on approach and genuine, down-to-earth nature are central to her passion for fostering trusting relationships. These relationships give people the confidence to pursue and achieve their personal goals.

Alongside Jacquie is our esteemed manager, Ambra. Ambra oversees the day-to-day operations and has a rich background in psychology and vast experience in the NDIS sector. Her commitment is unparalleled when it comes to enhancing the quality of life for people with disability or facing the challenges of ageing. Ambra is dedicated to providing personalised support that positively impacts people’s lives.

Most Popular Services

Personal Care

Good health and hygiene are important. However, some situations make personal care routines harder to manage on our own. Simply Helping can help. We provide personal care services to support your wellbeing. Personal care may include bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene needs, continence support, medication assistance, meal preparation, and more. Our personal care is delivered respectfully to maintain your dignity. Talk to us about your personal care needs.

Domestic Assistance

Keeping a tidy home can be time consuming and physically demanding. To make life a little easier, Simply Helping provides a home help service. Our domestic assistance covers most general housework and house cleaning tasks. Depending on your needs, this may include vacuuming, mopping floors, changing bed linen, laundry, meal preparation, and more. We can also help to declutter your home, removing tripping hazards. Or, refresh your home with a one-off spring clean.

In Home Respite Care

If you’re the primary carer of a loved one, we understand that it’s impossible to be there for them all the time. Simply Helping provides respite care and companionship. If you have other commitments to attend, or just need a break to recharge your batteries, our compassionate support workers can help. We assist with personal care routines, home help duties, and any other care or support requirement to ensure your loved one is safe and happy until you return.

Social Support

Staying socially connected is good for all of us. It promotes happiness and reduces feelings of loneliness. If circumstances make it difficult for you to remain socially active, Simply Helping can help. We offer social support and companionship. We can help you stay connected with family, friends, and the community. Social support can be in the home with friendly visits, or, we can support you in the community at classes, sporting events, helping with shopping, and more.

Gardening And Maintenance

For safety reasons it’s important to maintain your home and garden. If personal circumstances are making it difficult to clean the gutters, mow the lawn, or secure the handrails, our garden and maintenance service can help. The Simply Helping team can assist in the garden and carry out general repairs, to ensure your home is safe. No job is too big or small. Our gardening and maintenance service keep your home in tip-top condition.

Creative Arts Collaboration

Art can bring many therapeutic benefits. Creating or viewing artwork can increase relaxation and enjoyment, and reduce stress. Did you know our Simply Helping care workers can provide support with one-on-one creative art activities in your home? Incorporating art as part of your home care gives you the opportunity to develop a creative interest. With encouragement and support, you can make a tangible creation that builds confidence and brings fulfilment.

Mary* said she is very happy with the service provided by Simply Helping, and her support worker Sue*. Mary doesn’t drive, so she sends her shopping list to Sue who does the shopping on the way to Mary’s home. Sue will unpack the shopping before she starts the cleaning, and the house always looks great when she’s finished. Mary doesn’t have many visitors coming to her home, but Sue makes her feel comfortable with her caring nature and friendly chats. Mary believes the service provided by Sue has helped her stabilise her mental health, and encouraged her independence.

Which areas do you service?

Who do you provide home care services to?

We provide home care services to people of all ages, including children. All care workers are qualified, and hold a relevant police check, a valid Working With Children Check and DWES.

How do I access your services?

Our home care services can be accessed via Home Care Packages or NDIS funding. We understand it can sometimes be difficult navigating the My Aged Care and NDIS systems, so we can help. Give us a call and we can support you to access the services that you want and need.

I’m over the age of 65. Can I access the NDIS?

People aged 65 years or older are not eligible for the NDIS. If you’re currently receiving disability supports and have turned 65, you’ll continue to receive the same level of support as before through the Commonwealth Continuity of Support Programme. If you are accessing supports for the first time, contact My Aged Care, you may be eligible for a Home Care Package.

Can I have my supports at a regular time and day?

Yes, we encourage consistency of care. We recommend you request or schedule regular bookings. This makes it easier to remember when your care worker is coming. It’s also important to have the same care worker on a regular basis so they get to know you to support you in the best possible way.
