Have you ever noticed that you feel better about life when you are surrounded by nature?
Perhaps you were spending time gardening, walking on the beach or sitting in a park.
Connecting with nature has been shown to activate the parts of our brain that help us to cope with stress and restore our ability to relax, to feel good, and to think clearly and creatively.
Good Natured Connections is a holistic allied health and wellbeing practice. We work in partnership with nature to inspire and enable you to find calm, explore your potential and build connections.
Our sessions are held in nature and will be tailored to address your physical, emotional and social needs and will include:
- Creative arts and play based activities inspired by nature
- Walking and exploring beautiful nature settings
- Positive and meaningful social interactions
- Mindfulness activities to awaken the senses and bring you into the present moment
Using relationship-based approaches our qualified practitioners (Occupational Therapist and Social Worker) work across Adelaide with pre-schoolers, children and adults, individually or in small groups.
We invite you to learn more about our programs which may be accessed using NDIS funding, or as tailored packages with negotiated rates for community groups, local council or government departments.
As part of our commitment to supporting children to develop their love of nature we also offer after-school and holiday programs called "Nature Buzz" for children aged 7 - 12 years. A range of creative, mindful, social and physical activities will be provided at our beautiful garden in Waterfall Gully.
