Under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) there are different ways to manage your supports. You can choose to self manage, which means you look after the planning and manage funding yourself, have your plan managed by an agency or you can choose to be plan managed which means you appoint someone else to work on your behalf to manage all aspects of the plan for you.
If you are not confident in managing your own NDIS plan, you may decide to choose an advisor to look after all or part of this for you. Professionals who can help you manage your plan include Support Coordinators, Plan Managers and Case Coordinators.
